Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Shipping Area
- Unwritten Scents currently ships within South Africa only.
- International shipping is not available at this time.
2. Order Processing & Packaging
- All orders are packed beautifully and with care, ensuring a high-quality unboxing experience.
- Orders are processed and packed within 24–48 hours after payment is confirmed and the order is finalised either via our website or WhatsApp.
- Processing times exclude weekends and public holidays.
3. Delivery Timeframe
- Once dispatched, delivery usually takes 3–5 working days, depending on your location and the courier service.
- Delivery time may vary due to public holidays, weather, strikes, or courier delays.
4. Courier Fees & Delivery Options
- A standard courier fee applies and will be added at the checkout or when the order is completed.
- If you wish to use your own courier service, please select the option “Customer Collection / Own Courier”.
- No courier fee will be charged in that case. You will be responsible for arranging pickup and providing us with your courier’s details.
5. Responsibility & Risk
- Once a parcel has been handed to the courier, risk and responsibility transfer to the customer. This includes loss, theft, delays or damage caused by the courier or incorrect delivery details.
- However, we will gladly assist wherever possible to help track and resolve delivery issues.
6. Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Information
- Please ensure that your full name, delivery address and contact number are correct at checkout.
- Unwritten Scents cannot be held liable for delayed or failed deliveries caused by incorrect details provided by the customer.
7. Delayed or Returned Deliveries
- If a courier is unable to deliver and the parcel is returned to us due to incorrect address information or failed delivery attempts, the customer will be responsible for the additional courier fee to re-send the parcel.
8. Tracking
- Where available, tracking details will be sent via WhatsApp or email once your parcel has been dispatched.
