1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Unwritten Scents. By accessing our website (www.unwrittenscents.co.za), placing an order, or making a purchase through any of our platforms, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Finalising an order with Unwritten Scents automatically means that you accept all Terms and Conditions before making payment.

3. Products
We sell original authenticated Dubai perfumes, body mists and a of mix accessories. All products are subject to availability. Product images may differ slightly due to lighting and screen settings.
4. Orders & Payment
- Orders may only be placed by individuals 18 years or older.
- Payment methods accepted: EFT and Yoco (card payments).
- Orders are only processed once full payment has been received.
- If any incorrect or fraudulent information is provided, Unwritten Scents reserves the right to cancel the order.
5. Pricing
- All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR).
- Prices may change without notice.
- If a pricing error occurs, you will be notified and given the option to continue or cancel the order.
6. Shipping & Delivery
- We currently ship within South Africa only.
- Standard delivery time is 3–5 working days from dispatch.
- Once the parcel is handed over to the courier, risk and responsibility pass to the customer.
- Courier delays, strikes, weather, or incorrect delivery information are not the responsibility of Unwritten Scents.
7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
- Products may only be returned if they are unopened, unused, and in their original condition and packaging.
- Returns must be requested within 7 days from delivery, with valid proof of purchase.
- Due to hygiene reasons, opened or used fragrances and body products cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Refund Policy: Refunds will only be considered in severe or exceptional cases and must include valid proof (e.g. damage evidence, courier documentation). Each case will be carefully reviewed and approved at the sole discretion of Unwritten Scents.
- Approved refunds will be made via the original payment method only. Courier fees are non-refundable unless the error was made by us.
8. Public Conduct & Social Media
Customers are expected to communicate respectfully.
The posting of false, defamatory, harmful, or reputation-damaging content about Unwritten Scents on social media or public platforms is not permitted.
Unwritten Scents reserves the right to take appropriate legal action through our legal representatives, SEESA, against any individual or entity responsible for damaging our reputation.
9. Confidentiality, Privacy & POPIA Compliance
- Unwritten Scents complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Customer information is collected only for order processing, communication, and service purposes.
- We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties without consent, except when legally required.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including logos, images, product names, branding, designs, descriptions, and text — is the property of Unwritten Scents and may not be copied or used without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
Unwritten Scents is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage;
- Delays caused by couriers or external factors beyond our control;
- Misuse or allergic reactions to products.
Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the purchased product.
12. Changes to Terms & Conditions
Unwritten Scents reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated Terms.
